DESCRIPTION
Recently introduced this table is a sophisticated and brilliant update
of the sawhorse table. Here the sawhorses are three legged aluminum tubes.
The box that they come in morphs into the horizontal support, and the
rubber bands that hold them in place for shipping keep the base in place.
As architects, we were always looking for tables where you can buy the bases without the tops because, of course, we wanted to design the tops and change the materials and sizes. And, we were always looking for an affordable solution. This is one of the very few versions that actually works.
Of course, you can buy the whole assembly. The two best versions available are the glass one and the bamboo one. You should know that the bamboo top comes with a pre-assembled stretcher (for support) because the top is quite thin. The glass doesn't need it. However, if you buy the bases without the tops, you may need to add one depending on the top. There is a companion chair that was designed to go with this table; it's made by Vitra and called .03; and yes, we have it, too.

The base kit comes in a box. Holes are predrilled into the tops (bamboo)
to receive the supports. The assembly is fairly easy, and it packs quickly
for moving.
